Top 10 most inquired brands for 2022 on TruckDeal.com.ph

In first place is Japanese brand Isuzu, topping the charts against rivals from its hometown Japan and other brands overseas. Owing to multiple inquiries of the brand and the wide variety of models Isuzu offers, it is the overall most inquired brand of 2022. Hino and Suzuki follow closely in second and third respectively.

Hino, much like Isuzu, has a wide range of truck offerings from light-duty trucks to heavy-duty semi-trucks. Suzuki on the other hand, was the biggest surprise on the list, with only two truck models to offer, its popularity hinges on the public’s interest in only two models.

Luckily for Suzuki, the light-duty, gasoline-powered Carry, was a favorite among Filipino buyers. You may recall in our previous top ten list, it took the top spot as the most inquired-for truck model of 2022. Filipinos loved the Carry for its amazing value for money and range of available body options, which is why despite Suzuki only having the Carry and Super Carry to bring in interest, it takes the third spot of our top ten.

Number four and five are occupied by truck giants Foton and Fuso respectively, followed by Chinese brands Dongfeng and Sinotruk HOWO in sixth and seventh respectively. If you may recall, Sinotruk HOWO’s dump truck is the second most inquired-for truck in our previous list. Coming in at eighth and ninth are Hyundai and JMC, offering a strong selection of heavy-duty trucks for industrial scenarios. Lastly in number ten is Mitsubishi, who we all know makes the legendary L300, but, despite all its history in the Filipino market, was overtaken in the end by Isuzu with their Traviz and Suzuki with their small Suzuki Carry.
