Sojitz Fuso Philippines Corporation (SFP) and Centro Manufacturing Corporation have added two new models to Fuso’s commercial vehicle lineup, the Canter F-Lift Crane Truck and the F-Resh Ref Van. The launch event was held at the Sojitz Fuso head office and highlighted the partnership between the two companies in offering durable and practical trucks for local industries.

The Fuso F-Resh Ref Van is built for cold-chain operations and uses an upgraded C-Temp cooling system developed by Centro Nippon Fruehauf Cooltech Inc. The system offers better insulation, airflow, and temperature control, making it suitable for transporting food, medicines, and other products that need to stay cold in Philippine conditions.

The Fuso F-Lift Crane Truck, on the other hand, features lifting technology from Japan’s Tadano Ltd. It is made to support businesses involved in construction, utilities, and industrial work. The crane system follows Tadano’s standards for precision and safety, giving operators a reliable tool for heavy-duty lifting.

According to Sojitz Fuso Philippines president Yosuke Nishi, the launch shows the company’s goal of providing reliable vehicles that help businesses move forward. Centro Manufacturing president Raphael Juan also shared that the new models were developed through close teamwork between Fuso and Centro, both aiming to help Filipino entrepreneurs with their daily transport and lifting needs.

The Fuso Canter F-Lift is currently available in the FE85 short and long wheelbase variants. It comes with a TM-ZE 290 heavy-duty telescopic crane that can lift up to three tons. It also includes a load indicator system, outriggers, a telescopic boom, 360-degree rotation, and a centralized control panel. The truck has a dropside body with an aluminum checkered liner.

Under the hood, the Fuso Canter FE85 runs on a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine with 148 hp and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. It also has safety features like anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, an exhaust brake, and hydraulic double-acting telescopic shock absorbers.

The Fuso Canter F-Lift has a suggested retail price of P3.97 million and is currently offered at a discounted price of P3.94 million. SFP said that more versions of the F-Lift will be available soon, including the FE71 manual and AMT variants, as well as the FE73.

As reported by Zigwheels, the event concluded with a viewing of the new trucks, attended by Fuso dealers, Centro executives, and business partners. Both companies reaffirmed their shared goal of providing trucks that help Filipino businesses grow and meet everyday transport demands.
