HARI, the official distributor of Hyundai Truck & Bus in the Philippines, has locked in a formal partnership with Lalamove Philippines, one of the country's biggest on-demand delivery platforms. The deal puts commercial vehicles at the center of a push to make last-mile logistics faster, more reliable, and greener.
The agreement was sealed during a memorandum signing that brought together senior officials from both sides. HARI sent out Ladislao Z. Avila, Jr., the company's Director, Treasurer, and CFO, alongside Timothy Joshua S. Magisa, assistant vice president for the National Sales Division. Lalamove Philippines came in with Managing Director Djon Paolo T. Nacario and Senior Manager for Driver Operations Jefferson B. Balanga.
Lalamove's delivery network is joined by two specific Hyundai Truck & Bus models: the HD50s GT HARI Cab and the Mighty EV. The HD50s GT HARI Cab is the workhorse of the pair, hauling up to 2,300 kg and built to handle high-demand routes with durability to spare. The Mighty EV takes a different angle, going fully zero-emission with an even beefier 4,100 kg payload capacity, making it a solid option for urban deliveries and short-haul runs where cutting emissions actually makes logistical sense.
The move gives Lalamove's partner drivers access to higher-capacity vehicles, which the company says translates directly to better earning potential. Nacario noted that expanding the fleet nationwide supports the rising delivery needs of MSMEs and local businesses looking for dependable logistics partners.
