Hyundai Trucks and Buses further expands its presence in the country by turning over 15 units of its Class 3 HD50S Modern PUVs to the Bulusan Transport Service Cooperative (BULTRASCO) during the group’s Modern PUV launching held last April. This was also done in partnership with the brand’s Alabang dealership.

The newly released units are set to serve the coastal towns of Bulusan, Barcelona, Gubat, and Sorsogon City. These will provide the people of the area with an efficient, comfortable, safe, and environmentally friendly method of transportation for the locals and tourists in the area. The Hyundai modern PUVs were unveiled to the public during the program send-off at the Sorsogon Integrated Terminal Exchange in Sorsogon City.

Our Hyundai Modern PUV is a testament to our continuing mission of developing the transport sector through quality people movers that in turn upgrade the quality of lives of drivers and commuters alike.

She continues by stating that “Further, the Hyundai Modern PUV is a symbol of Filipino ingenuity, built with the diligence, skills, reliability, and determination of Filipinos working for the advancement of Filipinos. With the nation’s transport sector and workforce joining hands to make commuting better and safer for the riding public, we can all contribute towards making opportunities for progress more attainable for the Filipino.”

Since the Philippine government started pushing the PUVMP program in 2017, Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc.(HARI) has been a firm supporter of the goal to modernize transportation in the country. HARI was even able to continue its sales success despite the pandemic. In 2021 the truck and bus maker was able to turn over almost 500 units to various transport cooperatives nationwide. That being said, Hyundai wants to continue its moment in this segment as the automaker has announced that it aims to touch base with more transport groups in key cities and provinces.
