Isuzu Lambunao Traviz Turnover

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), together with its dealer partner Isuzu Iloilo, recently handed over 20 Isuzu Traviz L units to the Municipality of Lambunao in Iloilo. The turnover highlights the brand’s continued support for local government units looking to improve mobility and service delivery in their communities.

The trucks will be distributed across several barangays in Lambunao and will serve as multi-purpose vehicles. They’re expected to assist in emergency response, disaster relief, transport for barangay personnel, and the delivery of essential supplies and services. With each barangay able to deploy its unit depending on current needs, the vehicles should help improve efficiency in day-to-day public service operations.

Present during the turnover ceremony were IPC Vice President for Sales Shunsuke Yasui, Vanessa Lutero, and Lambunao Bids and Awards Committee Chairman Mary Floridette Yu.

“This turnover highlights Isuzu Philippines’ long-standing commitment to uplifting local communities by supporting their essential operations daily. With the Isuzu Traviz, dependable mobility is now more accessible to each barangay. We are confident that these units will make a positive impact by strengthening public service operations - whether in emergency response, health programs, or community initiatives.”

The units supplied to Lambunao feature a UV body configuration, allowing them to transport both personnel and cargo depending on operational requirements. From hauling equipment and construction materials to supporting medical missions or outreach activities, the trucks can be adapted for a wide range of tasks.

The beating heart of the Traviz is Isuzu’s 4JA1 Blue Power diesel engine, known for its durability, fuel efficiency, and dependable power. Its straightforward mechanical design also makes maintenance simpler, with widely available parts and service support—an important factor for LGUs managing operational costs.

“The Municipality of Lambunao welcomes the addition of these 20 Isuzu Traviz L units,” Lambunao BAC Chairman Mary Floridette Yu. “These vehicles will greatly enhance the efficiency of our frontline teams. By equipping our barangays with dependable transport, we can better respond to community needs - from health and social services to emergency and logistical requirements.”

With the new trucks now in service, Lambunao will also benefit from the after-sales support of Isuzu Philippines Corporation and its nationwide dealer network, helping ensure the vehicles remain ready for daily operations in the years ahead.
