Isuzu Philippines Corporation recognized among Laguna's most outstanding taxpayers

On March 15, 2024, in Sta. Cruz, Laguna, Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) received notable recognition for its steadfast dedication to fiscal accountability and its contributions to the community. The Department of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Provincial Government of Laguna, honored IPC as one of the most outstanding taxpayers. This esteemed honor was awarded during the lively 2024 Anilag Festival. As the name Anilag is a shortened form of “Ani ng Laguna” meaning “harvest of Laguna”, major contributors to Laguna’s economy and community are recognized alongside the celebration of Laguna’s history and culture.

The ceremony, a major event of the week-long Anilag Festival, was honored by the presence of the Governor of Laguna, Ramil Hernandez. He presented the certificate of recognition to IPC. This marks the second consecutive year IPC has been bestowed with this honor, a testament to its steadfast commitment to fulfilling tax obligations, upholding ethical business standards, and making significant contributions to the local economy of Biñan City. 

Governor Hernandez praised the awardees for their outstanding civic responsibility and their valuable contributions to the growth of Laguna. He emphasized that they represent the backbone of the local economy, setting a commendable example of corporate citizenship and fiscal integrity.

"We are deeply honored to receive this recognition for the second time. It reaffirms our commitment to good governance, compliance with government regulations, and our dedication to supporting the community we operate in. This award is a result of the collective effort of our employees, stakeholders, and the local government, working together towards a common goal of prosperity and development."

In its press release, IPC stated that the brand will remain steadfast in honoring its commitments to stakeholders and the broader community, actively enhancing the flourishing economic environment of Laguna.
