Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is keeping businesses moving with another major fleet turnover, this time handing over 56 brand-new Isuzu trucks to Producers Connection Logistics Inc. (PCL), one of the country’s established logistics players. The move reinforces IPC’s focus on delivering dependable, efficient mobility solutions that help companies scale operations while keeping sustainability in mind.
“Isuzu has always been committed to helping businesses succeed through dependable vehicles and comprehensive aftersales programs,” said Mikio Tsukui, President of Isuzu Philippines Corporation. “We are proud to partner with PCL as they strengthen their fleet to meet growing logistics demands. Our trucks are built to deliver long-term reliability and efficiency, ensuring smooth operations for years to come.”
Formerly known as Nuville Corporation, PCL has been in the logistics business since 1983, providing services that range from warehousing and transport to value-added solutions and energy management. With a footprint that spans key locations in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao—as well as operations in Vietnam and Dubai—the company continues to grow alongside the industries it serves.
To support that expansion, PCL added a mix of Isuzu’s workhorse truck lines to its fleet. The delivery includes Isuzu’s F-Series for heavy-duty applications and the N-Series for light to medium-duty transport, giving PCL the flexibility to handle everything from long-haul runs to urban deliveries.
Isuzu also teamed up with Centro Manufacturing Corporation to customize the trucks with appropriate body builds and refrigerated cooling systems. The result is a fleet tailored for both dry cargo and cold-chain operations, ready to meet the varied demands of modern logistics.
For heavier workloads, IPC supplied 22 units of the FVM and two units of the FVR from the F-Series lineup. These trucks are powered by Euro IV-compliant Blue Power diesel engines designed to balance strong performance with cleaner emissions. A reinforced chassis, rigid cab structure, and high axle capacity make them well-suited for long-haul and bulk transport, while easy engine access and spacious cabins help improve maintenance efficiency and driver comfort.
Covering lighter duties are 12 units of the NMR and 20 units of the NLR from the N-Series. Known for their maneuverability and fuel efficiency, these trucks are ideal for navigating congested city streets or tackling provincial routes. Select models also feature Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) for easier driving, Eco Mode to help cut fuel consumption, and ergonomic vinyl reclinable seats to reduce driver fatigue over long shifts.
“Our decision to partner with Isuzu reflects our commitment to operational excellence. Isuzu’s proven reliability and strong after-sales support give us confidence that our fleet will remain in peak condition, ensuring uninterrupted service for our clients.”
For fleet operators like PCL, choosing Isuzu goes beyond the trucks themselves. IPC backs its vehicles with the Isuzu Advantage, a comprehensive nationwide aftersales program aimed at keeping fleets running efficiently for the long haul. From free driver and mechanic training to ensure proper vehicle care, to nationwide parts availability that minimizes downtime, the program is built around long-term reliability.
For operations in remote or hard-to-reach areas, IPC’s Mobile Medic Trucks and field engineers provide on-site and roadside assistance, delivering support where and when it’s needed. It’s a full-circle approach to fleet ownership—one that helps logistics companies stay focused on the job while Isuzu takes care of keeping their trucks on the road.
