Suzuki Philippines Incorporated is beefing up its Carry lineup, rolling out two new variants built specifically for institutions, local government units, and organizations that need something more purpose-driven than the standard cargo hauler.
The two newcomers, the Suzuki Carry PUV Class 1 and the Suzuki Carry Patrol Van, still has everything that's made the Carry a workhorse in the local market, but each one gets reworked for a specific kind of job.
Starting with the Carry PUV Class 1, this variant carries a price tag of P849,000 and was built with passenger transport in mind. Organizations that need a no-nonsense people mover will find side entry doors that can be removed, a canvas cover, wide windows fitted with roll-up canvas, side-facing seating, and enough headroom to keep passengers comfortable. Suzuki also threw in a fire extinguisher as standard, and the unit carries DOTr certification under COC No. 202509-00C1GE, meeting the requirements of PNS 2131:2018 for Public Utility Vehicles Class 1 dimensional standards.
Given how it's equipped, the Carry PUV Class 1 is positioned towards transport cooperatives, resort operators, LGUs, and similar groups that regularly move people around and need a vehicle built for exactly that.
Then there's the Carry Patrol Van, which comes in slightly cheaper at P822,000. This one's aimed at barangays, LGUs, law-enforcement agencies and any organization running patrol or public-service duties on a regular basis. Suzuki loaded it with features that fit that role well, including a reversible seat setup, checkered plate flooring for durability, lockable roll-up canvas covers, a built-in side step, and a siren paired with a PA system and blinker. Seating tops out at 10, driver included, which gives it enough capacity for patrol teams or community response work.
Between the added functionality and the rugged touches, the Patrol Van shapes up as a solid pick for barangay patrols, community outreach, and other public-service tasks where a vehicle needs to pull double duty.
With these two additions, Suzuki Philippines is giving institutional buyers more room to pick a Carry that actually fits their operations rather than settling for a one-size-fits-all setup. Both the PUV Class 1 and the Patrol Van are rolling out now through Suzuki's authorized dealer network nationwide.
