Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has forged a collaboration with Lalamove Automotive to present the Toyota Lite Ace commercial vehicle as a transport partner. Now, Toyota’s pint-sized workhorse represents the company in Lalamove’s vehicle ownership program.

TMP recently announced that individuals aspiring to become Lalamove operators or those already operating under Lalamove can now acquire the Lite Ace Panel Van variant through the strategic alliance. This initiative falls under Lalamove Automotive's Vehicle Ownership Program.

Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR), and Toyota Financial Services have joined forces to establish an accessible pricing scheme tailored for current and aspiring Lalamove drivers. This program presents a range of advantages to customers, including the addition of Toyota Insure coverage and complimentary periodic maintenance service until the 40,000 km checkup.

“We are very happy and excited that Toyota Taytay, Rizal is part of this partnership with Lalamove Automotive, Toyota Financial Services, and Toyota Motor Philippines. To have a hand in assisting our customers in improving their quality of life by expanding access through financing so that they can acquire reliable Toyota mobility vehicles to use in their business is a privilege on our part. We hope that in the long run, more and more customers will benefit from this partnership, leading to better livelihoods for more Filipinos and a stronger Philippine economy.”

To strengthen the partnership even further, the program is set to explore the potential inclusion of vehicles from T-SURE, Toyota's program for used cars, in Lalamove operations.

Speaking on the Lite Ace for a bit, the Lite Ace also comes in Pickup, Cargo, and FX variants. The tiny Lite Ace is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that puts out 97 hp and 134 Nm of torque which is then paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Currently, the Lite Ace starts at P645,000, making it an affordable commercial vehicle for small businesses.
