The Dongfeng Captain C is a series of light-duty trucks that aims to cater to the transport needs of existing and emerging businesses in the country. Here in the Philippines, the Captain C Series comes in five variants including the 6-wheeler Cab and Chassis in 14-foot Wide, 14-foot Narrow, 17-foot, and 20-foot, as well as the 4-wheeler Cab and Chassis in 12.5-foot.
All variants are powered by 3.9-liter, Euro IV diesel engines. As for the transmission, the 4-wheeler, 12-foot, and the 6-wheeler, 14-foot narrow truck can deliver up to 260 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the 6-wheeler, 14-foot Wide, 17-foot, and 20-foot trucks come with 500 Nm of torque. These light-duty vehicles are equipped with either 5-speed or 6-speed manual gearbox.
The Dongfeng Captain C Series is integrated with basic features such as a multifunctional steering wheel, audio unit, power windows, manual air conditioning system, and instrumentations. Other features include Bluetooth, cruise control, and a 12V power outlet.
