The wide cabin version of the Captain C Cargo 6-wheeler model retains much of the same features and functionality as it still comes with a 14ft rear body. It retains the same 3.9-liter, Euro IV diesel engine that produces 114 hp and 260 Nm of torque that is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It also still has a multifunctional steering wheel, audio unit, power windows, manual air conditioning system, and instrumentation. Other features include Bluetooth, cruise control, and a 12V power outlet as part of its standard features.
Similar to its narrow version the Dongfeng Captain C Cargo 14ft wide model can be had with a dropside rear body. This allows the truck to be adaptable to almost any kind of cargo whether it be for hauling goods or for transporting sand and gravel. The low sides make it easy to load cargo into the back and can even be used as tie-down points for bigger items.
For those who want a cargo-oriented model that comes with the capabilities to load itself, the Dongfeng Captain C Cargo 14ft wide model also has a dropside with crane option. This allows the vehicle to be able to load much heavier items onto its bed without the need for manual labor.
Another cargo-oriented model for the Dongfeng Captain C Cargo 14ft wide model is also available in its aluminum van variant. It comes with a protected cargo hold that shields its contents from the elements and also comes with a strong structure. This is ideal for those who want to transport goods that are low density but come in a high volume package.
A multi-purpose van variant is also available for the Dongfeng Captain C Cargo 14ft wide model for those who want a balanced truck for both cargo and people transportation. The seats found inside the rear body easily fold down revealing more space for goods to be stored inside. Aside from this air conditioning units can also be installed at the back if needed to help cool passengers.
