Foton’s Hurricane EST-M is a range of 4x2 medium-duty trucks that comes in multiple configurations, ready to meet the demand of almost any work environment. The Hurricane EST-M Cargo 25ft is the largest in the cargo lineup of the EST series. Variants include an F-Van, Winged Van, Dropside, and cab and chassis. The length of the truck also depends on the variant, with the shortest option 25 feet.
As for power, this medium-duty truck boasts a 5.9-liter, inline-6 turbo diesel engine that outputs 220 hp and 800 Nm of torque. The Euro IV-compliant engine sends power to the rear wheels via an 8-speed manual transmission. The F-Van’s braking power comes in the form of dual-circuit pneumatic brakes, with a parking brake and auxiliary exhaust brake also available.
The 25-foot Hurricane EST-M 4X2 F-Van’s suspension system is composed of longitudinal leaf springs for the front and rear, with dual-acting telescopic shock absorbers bolstering the front.
Feature-wise, the Hurricane EST-M 4x2 F-Van is no slouch. The truck’s safety and security features include an anti-lock braking system (ABS), airbags, adjustable headlights, auto-adjusting braking slack, a safety bell alarm, door light indicator, reverse sensor, and a central locking system.
Foton has ensured the driver’s comfort and convenience by equipping the truck with cruise control, power windows, dual sun visors, an adjustable steering column, adjustable seats, and air conditioning.
