The Foton Tornado 4.8C Cargo 17ft continues Foton’s light-duty range of trucks in the Philippines by offering a longer wheelbase and platform to interested customers. As a cargo-oriented model, it can be had with a 17 ft long rear body that can be had in multiple configurations that can be easily adapted to meet the business needs of the customer. It can be equipped with a dropside, aluminum van, and crane rear body options.

The truck comes in the form of a 6-wheeler (4x2) model and boasts a different cab design compared to other light-duty trucks in the brand’s local lineup. It comes with a wheelbase of 3,360 mm and has a gross vehicle weight of about 7,500 kg. The truck also comes with a payload capacity of 4,590 kg.

Powering the truck is a 3.8-liter turbo diesel Cummins engine that produces 154 hp and 500 Nm of torque. It shifts via a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
