Apart from its huge commercial trucks, Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) also has Big buses that can carry up to 62 passengers. This Big Bus is designed to provide comfort and safety to all its passengers. It also comes with a specially designed chassis to deliver great stability and performance. The Hino's Big bus features two variants: the RK8J and the RN8J.
The RK8J Grandeza Bus is based on a 6-wheeler (4x2) truck chassis that has a wheelbase of 5,200 to 6,000 mm. It is available in three variants, a non-aircon, air-conditioned, and a deluxe air-conditioned model. It has a gross vehicle weight of 14,000 kg and can be had with multiple seating configurations. For its non-aircon model, a 55 to 62 seater layout can be had with the bus. The air-conditioned variant, on the other hand, can be had as a 57 to 62 seater, its deluxe model can be had with a lower 46 to 50 seater count but comes with more space for passengers.
Powering the RK8J Grandeza Bus is a 7.68-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 246 hp and 739 Nm of torque. It sends power to the rear wheels via a 6-speed transmission with an overdrive. The bus rides on semi-elliptic tapered leaf springs with single-action shock absorbers at the front and rear.

It has a gross vehicle weight of 16,000 kg and can be had with multiple seating configurations. For its non-aircon model, a 60 to 62 seater layout can be had with the bus. The air-conditioned variant, on the other hand, can be had as a 62 seater, its deluxe model can be had with a lower 50 seater count but comes with more space for passengers.
