Hino Midi Bus
Hino Motors Philippines (HMP) has been providing Filipinos a wide variety of vehicles for more reliable transport needs. Among the Japanese brand's main offerings are buses. For a more versatile and comfortable ride for long drives, the company released the Midi class buses or commonly known as medium-sized buses. With great styling and efficient performance, Hino's Midibus range consists of three variants such as the FC9JL7A, the FG8JP7A, and the FG8JP7A with FOH Extension.
All Midibus variants come with Euro IV engines for cleaner emission. The FC9JL7A houses a 5.12-liter diesel engine, while the FG8JP7A and the FG8JP7A with FOH Extension both feature a 7.7-liter diesel engine. When it comes to performance, the FC9JL7A produces 207 hp and 367 Nm of torque. The FG8JP7A and the FG8JP7A with FOH Extension churn out a maximum output of 237 hp and 716 Nm of torque.
As for the suspension setup, the FC9JL7A has a semi-elliptic leaf spring with shock absorbers at the front, while the FG8JP7A and the FG8JP7A with FOH Extension comes with semi-elliptic tapered leaf springs with shock absorbers. Rear suspension for all the variants is a semi-elliptic main and auxiliary leaf springs.
