Scania CITYWIDE LF Big Bus Overview

Made to accommodate passengers with a compact form factor, the LF features a low floor and roof for easy passenger entry and accessibility throughout the city. The model is available in varying lengths, ranging from 10.9 meters, all the way to an 18-meter articulated model.

The LF Big Bus is available in either two- or three-axle configurations, and multiple lengths, 10.9, 12.0, and 18.0 meters, the longest of which is articulated.

Several powertrains make the lineup versatile enough to meet passenger transport quotas and demands. The lineup includes engines that run on biogas, bioethanol, HVO, diesel, and biodiesel. Engines available for the model include either a 7-liter or 9-liter turbo-diesel engine that outputs between 250 to 320 hp and 1,100 to 1,600 Nm of torque, respectively. Scania’s buses operate on a wide variety of fuels as well to conform to strict emissions standards that are likely present within developed cities, and the brand promises efficiency and low emissions with the Citywide’s kit.
