A small commercial vehicle, the Suzuki Super Carry comes with some extra pulling power over the standard Carry model. It comes equipped with a small-displacement diesel motor for added capability. The model became popular in the country as a smaller alternative to trucks.
The model was introduced to the Philippine market with its diesel powerplant back in 2016 and was launched with sufficient pulling power being one of its key selling points.
The vehicle features a flexible layout allowing it to adapt to almost any need. Its small form factor lets the vehicle slip easily through tight spaces. Powering the vehicle is a 793cc two-cylinder engine that is Euro-4 compliant and utilizes a turbocharger to get more efficiency out of its small-capacity engine. The Super Carry is capable of 32 hp with up to 75 Nm of torque and utilizes a manual gearbox with five gears.
As for its suspension, it utilizes an independent MacPherson strut in the front and a rigid axle with leaf springs at the rear. This setup allows the Super Carry to achieve a Gross Vehicle Weight of 1,600 kg. This equates to a maximum payload capacity of 735 kg for the truck bed body. The bed comes in at 2,183 mm long, 1,488 mm wide, and has a wall that comes up to 300 mm in height.
As for its interior amenities, the Super Carry comes with a 1-DIN radio, two speakers, and an LCD display. The head unit supports AM/FM radio, has a USB port, an AUX-in jack, and an SD card reader. On top of that, the model also has a 12-volt socket for powering equipment or recharging devices.
