Six decades of trust and service later, Isuzu Bacolod now stands with a brand-new look. Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC), in partnership with Southern Auto Mart and Trading Corporation (SAMTC), has unveiled the updated Isuzu Bacolod dealership as part of its 60th anniversary celebration. The facility now follows the Isuzu Outlet Standard (IOS) design, bringing a modern look and better service to customers in Negros Occidental.
The celebration started with a week-long mall tour at SM City Bacolod, where the Isuzu D-MAX and mu-X were showcased. Both models are known in the province for their durability and practicality, making them popular among families, business owners, and professionals.
The new dealership covers 3,000 square meters. The showroom, which is 374 square meters in size, can now display three light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and one commercial vehicle (CV). It also features a modern front design and an improved display area. Customers can spend time in the new Customer and Sales Lounge, which provides a more comfortable space to talk about vehicle options, financing, and services.

The Service Area has also been expanded to 1,612 square meters. It is now brighter and better ventilated, with 15 bays for LCVs and one for a light to medium-duty truck. The Body Repair Shop has been relocated to help speed up repair times and improve workflow.
During the ceremony, IPC President Mikio Tsukui shared that the upgrade makes Isuzu Bacolod more ready to serve the growing needs of the community. Local government representatives also joined the event, pointing out the dealership’s role in supporting both mobility and business in the region.
SAMTC President Marc Vincent Tiu also looked back at the dealership’s history, saying their success came from always focusing on customers and delivering reliable vehicles. The anniversary celebration also included a program that honored long-time employees, presented SAMTC’s refreshed branding, and paid tribute to six decades of service.
Isuzu Bacolod is one of IPC’s 49 dealerships across the country. IPC also confirmed that it plans to add one more store soon under its “Road to 50” program, which aims to give customers better access to sales and after-sales services nationwide.
